Homes were flooded in:

Broadmead, Burnside, Northdene, Southdene, Eastdene,

Westdene, Bankside, Westview, Brandreth Drive, Fairhurst Avenue, Greenfield

Avenue, Beacon Crossing, Station Road, Lathom Avenue.

What is a Parish Council ?

The Parish Council is the lowest tier in government representing the people in local communities.

It is the "ear to the ground" for the higher authorities such as district and county councils and is consulted on local issues such as planning, environment and council services.

Parish Councillors are volunteers.
